Whole Fruits May Lower Diabetes Risk

Research has found that eating more whole fruits like grapes, blueberries, pears and apples may help to lower the risk of type 2 diabetes. The study also found that drinking fruit juices may have the opposite effect, increasing type 2 diabetes risk. People who eat two servings or more of whole fruits each week decrease their risk of type 2 diabetes by 23% when compared to individuals who only consume one serving or less of whole fruits each month. People who consume one serving or more of fruit juice daily increase their risk of type 2 diabetes by 21%. More here
