Many Health Care Plans Fail To Meet 2014 Insurance Standards

According to a report from the University of Chicago, approximately 50% of current personal health insurance plans do not meet Obamacare standards. Many individual health insurance plans fall short of basic requirements for the new health care reform that will take effect next year. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that only 12 million Americans will have individual plans by 2016 while an estimated 24 million Americans will have state-based exchanges. Both groups will be required to cover medication, mental health, and maternity care beginning in 2014. More here
