Loneliness May Cause Premature Death

A new report states that elderly individuals who are alone for long periods of time may be at higher risk of an early death. The report also found that low social activity may also increase the risk of premature death. Investigators on the report suggest that social contact is an essential part of human existence and may reduce chances of serious illness and premature death in the elderly. More here
