Alzheimer’s Patients Struggle With Finances

Younger adults managing finances while caring for elderly individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s has become an increasingly difficult situation. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, approximately 5-million Americans have been diagnosed with the disease and the number is expected to grow. A recent study stated that many caregivers are considered to be long-distance and have difficulty managing finances on their own. Experts recommend taking advantage of online banking to help aid in finance management. Some signs that an elderly person may be struggling with their finances are: trouble counting money, anxiety over cluttered mail, and increasing problems with their accounts. More here
